For best performance, use fresh alkaline batteries ( 2 x AA ) not included. Unscrew and open battery compartment door, insert batteries (+/-).Close the compartment door and screw up. Unscrew the bottle and fill with water. Do not freeze water in the bottle. The on / off button is located on topof the fan. If fan does not work, check that the batteries are installed correctly. To spray mist, press the trigger.
