Product Uses

Instructions for use: 1. Press the sides of the cup together and then fold it in half again 2. Hold the folded sides between your thumb and forefinger. The singe curved edge should be facing away from your palm. Upon proper insertion, cup unfolds fully. 3. To insert, with the vaginal muscles relaxed, gently seperate the labia wih your free hand and then push the curved edge of the folded cup into the vaginal opening. You can moisten the cup with water or use a water based lubrication gel. 4. When inserting, you can try to turn the cup slightly while holding its bottom part to ensure proper placement. Properly inserted, and with the aid of your vaginal muscles, the cup does not turn and remains in the same position. The cup is placed low inside the vagina. When inserted properly no leaking should occur and you should not be able to feel it inside your body. If you can feel the cup, remove and reinsert until it feels comfortable. 5. To remove, wash your hands well with warm water and soap. Pull gently on the stem until you can reach the base of the cup. Pinch the base of the cup to release the seal and continue to pull down and remove. The stem design features raised bumps to allow you to grip the stem for easier removal. 6. Simply empty the contents into the toilet, wash it well with warm soapy water and reinsert. If you are in a public bathroom use tissues to wipe clean and reinsert. 7. Depending on the menstrual flow, empty the cup approximately 2-5 times daily. The menstrual cup can be reused after cleaning. Keeping your cup clean It is important to keep your Feminesse Cup clean. Disinfect the cup before use and insert the cup with clean hands. On a day=to-day basis, rinse the cup with mild, unscented , soapy water. For a more thorough clean, the cup can also be placed in boiling water or sterilized in a sterilization solution. Your choice of maintenence depends on your particular situation.

Tips & Advice

Important: If the menstrual cup is uncomfortable or leaking, then it is not positioned properly. In order to get the best results it is important to insert it correctly. Women who have no sexxual experience are not reccomended to use the menstrual cup.
