Christmas Cocktails

Savers wishes you a Holly Jolly Roger Christmas! Get boozy this festive season with our glamourous and tasty Christmas cocktails! We have come up with 3 amazing recipes that will guarantee a merry Christmas!

Berry and Bright

This cocktail is a gorgeous blend of smooth vanilla rum and tangy cranberries.

All you will need is:

• Jolly Roger vanilla rum
• 400g of frozen cranberries
• 30g Sugar
• 120ml water
• 120ml lime juice
• Tonic water (optional)

Method

• Combine the water, sugar and cranberries in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Once the cranberries are soft, use a fork to mash them up to release the juices
• Continue to simmer until the sugar is blended and the mixture thickens.
• Strain the cranberry juice into a pitcher or punch bowl
• Add the lime juice and 8 shots of the vanilla rum to the mix.
• Leave to chill for an hour in the fridge.
• Serve the punch over ice and garnish with an cranberries and sprigs of rosemary.

Santa, Honey

This cocktail is a vibrant combination of Honey Rum and fresh pear.

All you will need is:

• Jolly Roger honey rum
• 15ml Lemon juice
• 30ml Pear Juice
• Sliced pear
• Star Anise & Brown Sugar for garnish (optional)

Method

• Add the lemon and pear juice to a cocktail shaker
• Add a double shot of honey rum to the mixture
• Coat the rim of the class with some lemmon juice and dip into sugar to coat the rim.
• Add a sliced pear to a glass
• Pour the cocktail in the glass over the pear

Enjoy hot or cold! – Add ice for a crisp, fresh feeling or simmer in a saucepan and add a star anise for the perfect cosy cocktail!

Winter Wonderland

A festive take on a classic mojito!

All you will need is:

• 8 mint leaves
• 15ml sugar syrup
• 60ml Jolly Roger Pineapple Rum
• 15ml fresh lime juice
• 30ml milk

TIP: It is very import to do the ingredients in the below order to stop the lime and milk curdling.

Method

• Add mint leaves to the bottom of your glass
• Add the sugar syrup and stir to increase mint flavour
• Add lime juice
• Add Jolly Roger Pineapple rum
• Fill the glass with ice
• Stir well
• add the milk
• garnish with cranberries and mint
